Happy New Year, everyone! Yes, I realize we’re already 11 days into the New Year, but I took some time off from card making in December to enjoy a little break over the holidays. Since this is my first post for 2016, I just wanted to start off by taking a moment to wish everyone a safe, healthy, happy, and crafty 2016.
Of course, since it’s a new year, that can only mean one thing, right? It’s CHA Mega Show time here in southern California! Even though the event takes place just a couple of miles from where I live, I’m not able to attend since it’s not open to the public. Instead, I’ve been watching loads of videos on Periscope and YouTube as well as scouring the blogs/websites of some of my favorite companies looking for announcements about their new releases.
Of course, as many of you have been reading my blog for a while probably suspected, lots of amazing new products from Lawn Fawn have found their way to my wish list. I absoluely love Lawn Fawn products! Here are some of the things I definitely want to get:
Plan on It – Woo Hoo!!! Lawn Fawn is finally releasing a planner set. This is the one I am definitely the most excited about. I can’t wait to use these in my Happy Planner from Me and My Big Ideas (a.k.a. MAMBI) who also has loads of cool new stuff coming out soon! Aren’t those icons just adorable?! (You can click on any of the images for a larger view.)
Loads of Fun – This stamp set is so cute! I love the punny sentiments that come with it. It’s a great set for coloring and will work great for shaker cards, too.
Ready, Set, Shake – I was really excited to see this stamp set, too. It’s designed to go with the Ready, Set, Snow stamp set, coordinating dies, and shaker add-on dies which I already own. This set will allow me to use the other stamps and dies year-round now and not just for Christmas. Gotta love that!
Year Six – I have most of the annual birthday mini sets Lawn Fawn has released in previous years. This one may be my favorite yet. Isn’t that little clam just adorable?!
Scripty Friends – I have a few of the other scripty word dies from Lawn Fawn already, so it’s not surprise I like this one. I don’t have a “friends” word die, so this will be a nice addition to my collection.
Perfectly Plaid 6×6 Petite Paper Pad – I’m a sucker for Lawn Fawn’s patterned paper and this one is no exception. What makes this one even more appealing is the fact I know a few of the amazing ladies these papers are named after. I’ve even taken classes from some of them at my local stamp store.
Rainbow Pack Cardstock – Ok, so who else is excited that Lawn Fawn is introducing a line of cardstock?! I adore solid core card stock, so I can’t wait to try their new line of 100 pound heavyweight paper. Individual colors will be available in a pack of 10 sheets or you can get the Rainbow Pack which contains one sheet of each of the 10 colors being introduced. I figure that’s a good place to start so I can get an array of all the colors. I hope this means more colors will be coming later in the year.
I know a lot of other people on social media are very excited about the new Stamp Shammy Lawn Fawn is introducing. I already use The Absorber shammy to clean my stamps, so I don’t think the Stamp Shammy is something I’ll be getting even though I love the cute little Lawn Fawn logo on it.
One thing I don’t have yet from Lawn Fawn but may seriously consider this year are their inks. I love the bright colors they have in their line. For those interested, they’re also introducing reinkers for their line, including the five new colors they’ll be releasing soon.
So, that’s my rundown of all the new Lawn Fawn products I want to pick up from their CHA/Winter release. Do you like Lawn Fawn products? If so, what are you “must haves” from their new release? Leave me a comment below and let me know. If you haven’t seen all the goodies they’ll be launching next month, you can find them all over on the Lawn Fawn blog.
I’ll be back in a few days to share some more new items from CHA that are definitely going on my wish list. There’s also loads a cool new stuff coming from Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink! I should also have my hands on the new Tim Holtz Tonic Guillotine Comfort Paper Trimmer in the next couple of days. I can’t wait to try it out!
Until next time …
