Colored Pencil Class

I had the opportunity this morning to take a class over at Stamp Fever, my local stamp store. The class was designed with colored pencils, but students were free to use the coloring medium of their choice. Since I tend to do Copic coloring or watercoloring most of the time, I decided to embrace the challenge of using my colored pencils. I have the 132 pencil set from Prismacolor, but rarely use it, so this was a good occasion to dust them off and put them to use again.

Here are the three cards we made. As always, feel free to click on the image to see a larger view.

It doesn’t show up as well in the first two photos as it does the last, but we put a layer of clear Wink of Stella on all of the card. It’s add such a lovely shimmer to everything!

Until next time …
