Today is a big day in the Stampin’ Up!® world. The OnStage conference took place over the weekend to introduce the new catalog that will be launching soon. That means two things: all of us who are demos have gotten a peek at the new catalog and the list of retiring items from the current catalogs (annual and occasions) has been released to everyone, both demos and customers.
As for the new catalog, it won’t be available to customers until June 1. However, if you’d like a little sneak preview, I can at least show you the new cover. As much as I loved the current catalog for 2015-2016, the new catalog for 2016-2017 is even better! There is so much awesome new stuff in it!! If you’d like to see a larger view of the cover, just click on the image.
Of course, whenever a new catalog is about to be released, one thing we all know will be making an appearance on the retiring list is the oldest set of In Colors. This year, we’ll be losing the 2014-2016 In Colors to make room for the new 2016-2018 colors which are AWESOME! But, if you’re like me and LOVE Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon, now is the time to stock up because once retiring items sell out, that’s it! The other retiring In Colors include Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, and Mossy Meadow.
By the way, the 2015-2017 In Color ink pad and cardstock bundle is also be retired. The ink pads and cardstock for the 2015-2017 In Colors will continue to be available in the new catalog, but the bundle option is gone. So, if you’ve been wanting to pick those up, you might want to grab them!
One of the other things we also expect to be retired are the current Designer Series Paper packs and the coordinating cardstock packs. If you have a favorite from the current annual or occasions catalog, you might want to stock up before they’re gone.
I will admit, a few things that made an appearance on the retiring list definitely made me sad. They’re things I find myself using quite often. Here are a few of them:
- 2.5″ Circle Punch
- 2-3/8″ Scalloped Circle Punch
- A Dozen Thoughts stamp set (wood mount or clear mount)
- Candy Dots (Brights – Subtles – Regals – Neutrals)
- Crystal Effects
- Greetings Thinlits Dies
- Happy Patterns Decorative Masks
- Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
- Stylish Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
- Trimmer Rotary Addition
- Word Window Punch
There are also several bundles being retired as well. So, if any of them interest you, this is a good time to grab them before they’re gone. Remember, when you buy a bundle, you save 15%! Here are a few of my favorite bundles that are being retired:
- Banner Banter Bundle (wood mount or clear mount)
- Botanical Blooms Bundle (photopolymer)
- Happy Home Bundle (wood mount or clear mount)
- Pictogram Punches Bundle (clear mount)
- Number of Years Bundle (photopolymer)
If you would like to look over everything that’s being retired, you can find them at the links below. I’ll just forewarn you that the website has been EXTREMELY busy this afternoon, so if things are loading really slowly, that’s probably why. Again, as a reminder, since these items are retiring, they will only be available while supplies last. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good!
If you would rather have a PDF version of the retiring list, you can find that here. Bear in mind that it’s just a list of all the items though and doesn’t include any photographs. If you want to see photos, you’ll have to follow the links just prior to this paragraph. However, it’s a great option to quickly see what items have already sold out. When a product sells out, an X will be placed in the “Not Available” column. The PDF is updated each business day by 4pm Mountain Time.
Today is also the FINAL DAY for anything on the Weekly Deals page. The Weekly Deals promotion is also be retired. If there is anything on the list you want to order, you only have a few hours left.
If you don’t have a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and are interested in any of these products, I would love to earn your business and become your Demonstrator. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with me using the Contact link in the navigation bar at the top of my site.
BLOG UPDATE: Up to this point, I’ve always set the links on my blog to open in a new browser window. As you may have noticed, beginning today, that is no longer the case. Given I now have more readers who view my site via a mobile device than a traditional computer, I’ve made the decision to no longer have links open in a new window. This should make the viewing experience much better for the majoring of my readers using mobile devices. For those using a traditional computer, just remember to use your back button from now on to return to the previous screen. Thanks!
Until next time …
