For today’s card, I wanted to share another Paper Pumpkin alternative project I made using contents of the May 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit called Many Manly Occasions. As you may remember, I shared a shaker card I made with the kit a couple of weeks ago. Even though it wasn’t one of the designs included with the set, it was still pretty true to the original concept of making more “manly” types of cards. Today’s design is completely different! I decided to make a very feminine card instead.

Using a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped a few flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set using So Saffron and Calypso Coral inks then used the coordinating punch to cut them all out. I also stamped several leaves from the Love & Affection stamp set using Mint Macaron ink. I filled them in using a blender pen then fussy cut them out. I added a layer of clear Wink of Stella to all the flowers and leaves then set them aside to dry.
For the sentiment, I started by creating the scalloped rectangle mat. I did this by doing some partial diecutting using one of the scalloped squares from the Layering Squares Framelits. I then cut out a slightly smaller rectangle from white cardstock and stamped one of the sentiments from the Love & Affection stamp set using Marina Mist ink.
I matted my main panel with a piece of Marina Mist cardstock then adhered it to an A2 top-folding card base made of white cardstock. I adhered all the floral pieces to the card, some flat and others popped up on Dimensionals, then added a large rhinestone in the center of each flower. To finish the card, I adhered the sentiment near the bottom of the card using Dimensionals.
