I had the pleasure on Saturday of taking a great coffee-themed card class at my local stamp store (Stamp Fever) featuring products from Sizzix. We had two teachers and made a total of six cards during the three hour class. I don’t really have any details about the papers or products we used, but wanted to share the photos because I thought all the cards were so much fun.
I think the last card may be my favorite. I actually own the embossing folder used for the card already, but have never used. After using it on two cards during the class, I’m definitely inspired to pull it out and use it now!
One of the favorite techniques I learned during the class was on the thank you card with the frappe beverage. The dome lid was die cut from vellum. We used a sponge dauber to dab on some Picket Fence Distress Ink on the back side of the dome to create the whipped cream appearance. I thought that was such a clever idea!
Until next time …
