A Neutral Christmas

Christmas is usually all about reds, greens, and bright colors. For my card today, I decided to go very neutral instead.

Mel's Card Corner | Neutral Christmas

The first step was creating the background on my card base which I made from Thick Whisper White cardstock from Stampin’ Up!® I created a mask for the sentiment area using a sticky note and 2.5″ circle punch. After placing the mask, I used the Circle Dots stencil from Simon Says Stamp and applied some BoBunny Sugar Glitter Paste.

While I set aside the card base to dry, I worked on the other elements for the card. I started by stamping the bow and wreath from the Wonderful Wreath stamp set by Catherine Pooler Designs on some Whisper White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink. I cut out the images using the coordinating Wonderful Wreath Dies. I adhered the bow to the wreath using some mini glue dots.

After the glitter paste was dry, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Jingle Greetings stamp set by Mama Elephant using Basic Black ink. I finished up the card by adhering the wreath to the card base using Dimensionals.

I absolutely love how this card turned out. As an added bonus, it would also be really easy to mass produce as long as you don’t mind the waiting time for the glitter paste to dry.

I’m entering this card in the following challenges:

Until next time …
