From the first time I saw the little snowman in the Jar of Cheer stamp set in the Stampin’ Up!® holiday catalog, I knew I had to have him. He’s just so stinkin’ cute with his little Santa hat and striped scarf. I paired him with the medium size jar from the Everyday Jars Framelits to create this shaker card.
I apologize for not offering the lengthy details for how I made this card like I normally do. I’ve been under the weather the past couple of days and just don’t feel up to writing out a long blog post. Given how often I’ve been posting lately, it’s becoming more and more challenging to provide such in-depth detail, so I may be scaling back some on the level of details provided in my blog posts going forward.
Anyway, this card is just a basic shaker card, so I didn’t really do anything special. I used a blender pen to do the coloring on the little snowman. The colors I used are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, and Smoky Slate. I used Cherry Cobbler for the sentiment, then used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green Stampin’ Write markers to ink up the holly image I stamped on either side of the sentiment. I also did some silver heat embossing for the jar lid. I’ll link to all the products I used below my signature.
I’m entering this card in the following challenge:
- Addicted to Stamps and More – the current theme is make your mark. I used a blender pen to color my snowman and Stampin’ Write Markers to ink up the holly berry stamp around my sentiment.
- Paper Craft Crew – the current theme is a color challenge (red, green, crumb cake).
Until next time …
