Quick Holiday Tags

One of the things I love most about the new Holiday Wrap-Up mini release from Catherine Pooler Designs is how quickly I can create some really cute projects. I used the Holiday Mittens stamp set to create six adorable tags (two each of three designs) in less than 30 minutes.

Mel's Card Corner | Quick Holiday Tags

I started by cutting six tags from white cardstock using the medium size tag die from the Anytime Tags Dies Set 2 from Lil’ Inker Designs. After that, I cut six more of the same tag from some of the winter/Christmas plaid petite paper stacks from Lawn Fawn.

Once I had everything cut out, I used the inks from Catherine’s Foundations Box to stamp all my images. To keep the snowflakes nice and soft on the snowflake tag, I stamped off first on each of the snowflakes before stamping on the tag.

To assemble the tags, I added some tape runner of the right half of the bag of the white tags then offset them a bit on top of the plaid tag. I just made sure to line up the holes at the top. I then added a bit of baker’s twine to each tag and that finished them off.

I’m entering these tags the following challenges:

One last thing …

Fab Fave Badge

I wanted to take a moment to thank the Design Team over at the Fab Friday challenge. They selected my Autumn Leaves card as one of their winners for a recent challenge. As always, I’ve updated my Challenge Wins/Features page to reflect this latest honor. Thanks again, DT!!

Until next time …

These tags are so sweet, Melissa! I love the beautiful mix of colours and plaid layers you’ve added too. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week 🙂

Fabulous tags Mel! Loving the mix of the patterns and the CAS look. Would make it easy to reproduce these if you had to make lots. Thanks for playing along and I hope we see you again next week at Just Add Ink. Rochelle
