I had the pleasure of taking a really fun class yesterday at Stamp Fever, my local stamp store. It was taught by my good friend, Linda. We made two projects during the class. I’ll share one today and the other tomorrow.
The focal panel of this card is a watercolor panel from the birthday watercolor panels pack from Taylored Expressions. I colored everything using Distress Markers and a water brush. The colors I used were Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, and Spun Sugar.
After the watercolor panel was dry, I adhered it flat to a cardstock layer then adhered that with foam tape to a patterned paper layer. The card base is a landscape A2 card which is decorated with some patterned paper from Doodlebug Design matted on a layer of cardstock. To finish the card, I added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and went over all the letters and packages with clear Wink of Stella.
That’s it for today’s card. Don’t forget to stop back tomorrow to see the second project from this class.
Until next time …
