The Perfect Reason Blog Hop Day 1

Mel's Card Corner | Perfect Reason SOA Blog Hop

It’s the time again! The latest Stamp of Approval collection, The Perfect Reason, will be launching in just a few days (February 8). In honor of the upcoming release, this is day one of a three day blog hop from the Dream Team and lots of awesome Guest Designers, too. You should have arrived here from Catherine’s blog, but if you didn’t, don’t worry. I’ll have a complete list of all the stops for today’s hop at the end of my post.

The new collection is called The Perfect Reason. As always, it’s a curated collection of exclusive stamps, dies, and other products designed to work together to allow a stamper to mix and match to create a variety of projects. The products in the collection will be available for individual purchase at a future day, but it will be several months from now and purchasing all the products individually will cost quite a bit more than the price of buying the collection.

Here’s a list of the products included in The Perfect Reason (all products are from Catherine Pooler Designs):

  • Perfect Reason (stamp set and coordinating dies)
  • Paisley Peacock (stamp set and coordinating dies)
  • Everyday Mod (stamp set)
  • You Did It (stamp set)
  • Perfect Vine Die
  • Mod Squared Stencil Everyday

Now that all the particulars are out of the way, let’s move on to a couple of cards I made using the collection.

Mel's Card Corner | Perfect Reason SOA Blog Hop

My first card today features images from the Paisley Peacock and You Did It stamps sets. It also features a few of the blue and green inks from Catherine. I can’t wait to see what everyone will do with all the amazing products in this collection.

For my second card for this hop, I created a 4-bar sized notecard. I absolutely LOVE the big Congrats sentiment from the You Did It stamp set.  It nestled perfectly in the wavy border stamp from the Everyday Mod stamp set. Don’t you just love that awesome rainbow we can achieve with Catherine’s inks?! Love them!!

As promised, here’s a full list of all the participants in today’s hop:

Be sure to visit each stop along the hop all three days and leave a comment each day. One winner will be chosen at random from each day’s comments and announced on February 9 on Catherine’s blog. The winners will win their box and if they already bought it, they will be refunded.

Until next time …

Omg I love it!! The tail feather that goes closest to the body (when cut out but not stamped yet) could be used as a potted flowering plant. But any hoo, gorgeous!!
