Woo Hoo! I’m finally back to share more details about the Stampin’ Up!® OnStage event and the make & takes we created. I know the past couple of days have been crazy with the retirement list coming out followed immediately by my participating in the International Highlight, so thanks for bearing with me. I won’t keep you in suspense any longer though. Let’s get to the projects! As always, you can click any of the images for a larger view.
The next card was this adorable little fox from the Birthday Delivery bundle from the new Birthday Memories suite. The sentients and gift package are from the Birthday Delivery stamp set, but the fox and banner flag are actually from the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper pack. The Birthday Friends Framelits Dies that comes in the bundle are sized to also cut images from the DSP pack. How cool is that?!!
The next card was actually created using one of the new Memories & More card packs. They aren’t just for memory keeping! The flower was fussy cut from one of the 3×4″ cards. The two layers behind it are also cards from the set. The images stamped on the front layer are from the Colorful Seasons stamp set which is part of the new Color Theory Suite. You are going to be blown away when you see the versatility of this suite!
The final card we made was this beautiful clean and simple design using the new Daisy Delight bundle from the Delight Daisy suite. Punch lovers rejoice because there’s a new punch in town! We stamped and punched three of the daisies then staggered them to create the beautiful full flower. We finished off the flower with one of the gorgeous new gold Faceted Gems. The sentiment is from the Daisy Delight stamp set and is stamped in Tranquil Tide, one of the new 2017-2019 In Colors.
Also included in our goodie bag was this awesome notebook and a set of pens. I’m planning to use the notebook to set some stamping/blogging goals for myself over the next six months. I have some things in mind I would really like to accomplish before the next OnStage event in November. I’m a firm believer in the power of writing things down, so that’s what I’ll be doing in this notebook.
The set on the right is another one everyone received as the final Prize Patrol of the day. It’s called Ribbons of Courage and is the million dollar sales set designed by Patty Bennett. So many of us expected penguins in Patty’s set, but she decided to go in a completely different direction and created this set in memory of her mother and grandmother who both battled breast cancer.
Finally, the set on the right is the Birthday Delivery stamp set we used earlier in the day for the cute birthday card make & take we created. As the day was closing, we were allowed to divide the stamps and consumables between everyone at the table. The directions were to let the oldest person pick from the tote first and then pass it around the table clockwise. There were only five people at our table, so the tote made it around a few times. I ended up with this stamp set, a partial spool of the Crushed Curry ribbon we used on the Color Theory card, and an almost full roll of Tear ‘n Tape. The tote did make it around one more time and all that remained were the ink pads we used. I think everyone opted to skip the final found and let our teammate who hosts workshops in her home have all the extra ink pads since they would be most useful to her.
My pre-order of new products we were allowed to order as part of OnStage should be arriving later today. I’m planning to record an unboxing video to show a sneak peek of some of the products coming in the new catalog, so be watching for that either tonight or tomorrow. It will probably go up over on my YouTube channel before I have it here on my blog, so if you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, you might want to. 🙂
Until next time …
