Yes, I said the dreaded “C” word … Christmas! LOL I know most of us don’t want to start thinking about Christmas yet, but you might want to when I tell you about some awesome deals going on right now in my Stampin’ Up!® online store. In case you haven’t heard already, the clearance rack was updated this week with quite a few new things, including one of my favorite Designer Series Paper stacks from last year’s holiday catalog.
That’s right, Warmth and Cheer is back, and even better? It’s 60% off right now!! You can get this stack of 48 gorgeous double-sided holiday papers (which are awesome for masculine holiday cards, by the way) for ONLY $4! Of course, since it’s on the clearance rack, that means the price is only good while supplies last, so I would get it sooner rather than later if you want a pack.
This card is quick and easy because the beautiful patterned paper does most of the work. The only stamping is the sentiment, so this is also a great card if you or someone you know is a beginning stamper.
The only embellishments I used were a bit of solid baker’s twine and a tiny rhinestone. They’re both definitely optional though. Even with them, I still think this would be a great masculine card thanks to the combination of the rich red of the Cherry Cobbler card stock paired with the plaid DSP.
If you would like to see full details on how I created this card, you can find it in the video below.
We actually have a couple of different challenges going on right now over at StampNation. I decided to combine both of them into this card. If you aren’t a member of StampNation already, we’d love to have you come join us!
- Weekly Challenge – the current theme is patterned paper.
- Christmas Card Challenge – the current theme is plaid.
Until next time …
