Just Breathe

I’m participating in a card swap with some other Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators who are part of the Random Act of Kindness Card Group on Facebook created by Kylie Bertucci. For this swap, we’re using products from the new annual catalog which will launch on June 1, 2017. I spent some time yesterday creating the cards I needed for the swap. I decided to combine a couple of different stamps sets for my design. I used the new Tranquil Tulips hostess set and a sentiment from the new Colorful Seasons stamp set.

I started by stamping some of the stems and leaves from Tranquil Tulips on Whisper White card stock using Pear Pizzazz ink. The floral images in the stamp set are all layering stamps and I used a couple of the new 2017-2019 In Colors to stamp them. I used Berry Burst to stamp both layers of the flowers then used Fresh Fig to stamp the stamens on the tulips.

Once I finished the flowers, I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark ink. I added some gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder then melted it using my heat tool. I adhered the focal panel to a piece of Berry Burst cardstock then adhered the matted panel to a top-folding card base made from Thick Whisper White card stock. For a bit of extra shimmer, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella over all the flowers and that finished the card. I hope the ladies who will be receiving my cards soon like them!

As with any of the other new catalog sneak peeks I’ve been showing lately, some items are not yet available for customer purchase. The products I’ve used on this card which are currently available are linked in the supply list below my signature. If you would like to purchase any of these items, simply click the image in the supply list and it will take you directly to that product in my online store. Thanks!

Until next time …

Love your Tranquil Tulips card – can I ask the sizing of each of your layers – do you have a guide? thanks Jan
