Freshly Picked New Release!

Surprise! In case you haven’t heard, Catherine Pooler did a surprise launch today of her new Freshly Picked release. There are so many amazing products in this release which are so on trend right now. I am in LOVE with this release! If stamps, dies, and new inks (yes, new CPD inks!) weren’t enough, Catherine released four new STENCILS today. Woo Hoo!!

Here’s the full line up of this release:

  • Best in You stamp set
  • I Pick You stamp set and coordinating dies
  • Beautiful You dies (coordinates with previously released Beautiful You stamp set)
  • Large Doily die
  • Perfect Vine stencil
  • Swoop stencil
  • Checkerboard stencil
  • Mod Flower stencil
  • Black Jack ink pad
  • Icing on the Cake ink pad

For those of you who, like me, have been wanting some CPD inks in neutral colors, you’ll be happy to know we’ve got two now! Woo Hoo!! Black Jack is a beautiful dark gray and Icing on the Cake is a perfect chocolate brown. Both of these new ink colors are non-permanent dye ink and are the first two colors in the new Neutral Collection of inks.

For my card today, I used the new Perfect Vine stencil to create the background panel. I used an ink blending tool to apply ink in Melon Ice First then added some Garden Party for a bit of color variation. To complete the panel, I stamped the double stitch border from Best in You using Black Jack ink to create a frame.

For the focal image I stamped this amazing sentiment from Best in You using Black Jack ink then cut it out using a stitched rectangle die from my stash. For an accent, I stamped a couple of the layering flowers and some leaves from Best in You I used It’s a Girl and Party Dress for the pink flower, Sweet Sixteen and Pixie Dust for the purple flower, and Lime Rickey with Grass Skirt for the leaves. There aren’t coordinating dies for this stamp set, but the little flowers and leaves were really easy to fussy cut. I popped the two flowers up on some dimensional adhesive then tucked the leaves underneath adhering them with some glue dots.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed my card today. Be sure to stop back tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another card using products from this release. In the meantime, be sure to head over to Catherine’s shop and pick up some of these fun new products.

In addition to the new release, Catherine also added products from two previously released Stamp of Approval collections into the store today.  Products from the Candy Cane Lane and The Perfect Reason collections are now available for individual purchase. If you want to get a jump start on your holiday cards for Christmas in July, now is a great time to pick up stuff from the Candy Cane Lane collection. Just sayin’ …

Until next time …
