Coolest Yule – Part Two

I’m back again today with the second card I made using the Coolest Yule stamp set and dies from Cathy Zielske of CZ Design. I used the deer image on yesterday’s card, so today I’m using the tree image.

Mel's Card Corner | Coolest Yule - Part Two

I started by stamping the larger tree using Twisted Citron Oxide ink from Tim Holtz then heat embossed it when clear embossing powder. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. For a bit of bling, I added a gold Metallic Enamel Shape from Stampin’ Up!® at the top of the tree.

Using one of the stitched rectangles from the 4 Bar Stitched Rectangles from Lawn Fawn, I cut a layer from Whisper White card stock. I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set on the stitched rectangle using Candied Apple Oxide ink and again heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. I matted the stitched rectangle with some Real Red card stock then adhered it to a Whisper White note card using Dimensionals. I then added the tree die cut, also popping it up using Dimensionals.

Once again, I decided to decorate the outside of the envelope to coordinate with the card. I stamped the smaller tree and the smallest sentiment from the stamp set on the envelope using the Twisted Citron Oxide ink again. Finally, I used the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends marker to draw a little star at the top of the tree.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to come back tomorrow when I’ll share the other design I created using this stamp set.

Until next time …
