One of my goals for 2018 is get more organized, especially with things related to my design team work and my blog. I’ve been very hit or miss through most of 2017 when blogging regularly. I’ll go for a week or so posting ever day then will go several days (or more) without posting at all. I really want to change that in 2018! I’m not saying I’ll be blogging every day, but my goal is to consistently blog at least 3-4 times per week.
In order to help me accomplish this goal, I decided to purchase a planner specifically for my blog/YouTube/DT work. Since I’ll only be using it for my creative work, I didn’t need something very big, but I wanted enough space where I could jot down card ideas and such. I found the perfect solution in this GORGEOUS planner from Oregon artist, Katie Daisy. As soon as I saw it on Amazon, I ordered it immediately.
Each monthly view includes beautiful illustrations around the calendar. The calendar includes all major U.S. and Canadian holidays, moon phases, special observances from several of the world’ major religions, etc.
The weekly spreads are a horizontal layout. In weeks that split between two months, the week is divided into two separate weekly spreads. This is basically an unruled planner, but there are faint grid lines and rules on the weekly spread pages.
While this planner started in August 2017, it continues through the end of December 2018. If you would like to see a walk-through of December 2017 – December 2018, check out this video.
