I’m here today with my fifth and final installment of my homework cards for the Clean & Simple Holiday class I took over at Online Card Classes. Today I’m jumping back to the day two lesson on creating clean and simple cards featuring die cutting. For my card, I used a technique taught by Jennifer McGuire.
I love how this simple shaker card turned out. I used one of the Geometric Tree dies from Ellen Huston (no longer available) to create the shaker window. I filled the shaker with Icicle Sequins Mix from Hero Arts. I used the Peace, Love, and Doves background stamp from Catherine Pooler Designs on the white layer. The sentiment is from the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.
Here’s a closer look at the shaker window.
As I’ve done throughout this entire series of homework cards, once again I won’t be sharing any specific details on how I created the card. As I’ve previously stated, I don’t think it fair to the instructors or the other students who have paid for the class to give away the information here on my blog. If you would like to learn more about the technique I used to create this card, sign up for the class. 🙂
Until next time …
