Lawn Fawn Simple Celebrate Winter

Happy Friday, everyone! To my U.S. readers, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday yesterday. I kept things kind of low key and made a simple Thanksgiving dinner for myself at home and reflected on all the many blessings in my life of a nice place to live, a good job, and lot of amazing friends.

For my card today, I used the Simply Celebrate Winter stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the image and sentiment using Jet Black ink, also from Lawn Fawn, then colored the images with a variety of rainbow-colored Copic markers. I then cut the image out using the largest die in the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics from My Favorite Things then drew on some strings and bows using a silver Signo Board gel pen.

I created a side-folding A2 card base from white cardstock. I adhered a piece of patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas Petite Paper Pack, also from Lawn Fawn. I wrapped the focal panel with some black and white baker’s twine finished off with the little bow then adhered that to the card using some foam tape. For a final bit of bling, I added a coat of Clear Overlay Sparkle Pen to all of the ornaments and that completed my card for today.

Until next time …
