AAA Cards #145 – One Image

It’s time for another CAS challenge over at AAA Cards. Our new challenge kicking off today is for cards featuring just one image with the optional twist of positivity. We have the amazing Sharon Traynor joining us as a Guest Designer for this challenge. Before getting to my card, I would also like to take a moment to thank Precious Remembrance Shop for sponsoring for this challenge. Now, on to my card …

For my one image, I chose THINKINGOFYOUabella from the Bellas Version 2.0 line of stamps created by Stamping Bella. I stamped the image on a Neenah Solar White Flat Card Front using Premium Black Hybrid Ink, both from Scrapbook.com, then used a straight edge and a Copic Multiliner to add the edge of a table for her to rest her arms. After letting the ink dry for a bit, I colored her using Copic markers in the following colors:

  • Skin: E51, E11, BV000, R20
  • Lipstick: R22, R24, R27
  • Hair: YR12, YR18, E09
  • Blouse: R22, R24, R27, R39
  • Table: W3, W1, W00, 0

After the coloring was done, it was time for the sentiment. I chose this beautiful sentiment from the Inspiring Poppies stamp set from Gina K. Designs. I stamped it using the same Premium Black Hybrid Ink I used to stamp the woman.

To assemble the card, I used a Neenah Solar White A2 Vertical card base, also from Scrapbook.com. I trimmed the focal panel by 1/4″ both ways then adhered it to the card base using thin foam tape. For a tiny bit of embellishment, I added a touch of clear Wink of Stella to her lipstick.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you’ve enjoyed this fun CAS project. Please be sure to head over to AAA Cards to play along with our current challenge. As always, please remember to keep your card CAS which, for us, means plenty of white space free of images, texture, pattern, etc. with minimal layers and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoyed the project I’ve shared. Until next time …
