CAS Using Small Images

For today’s card, I thought I would play along with the latest Less Is More challenge. The challenge is to create a clean and simple (CAS) card using only small images (less than 2 inches in diameter). I thought about using a single image to have it fit our current challenge over at AAA Cards as well, but couldn’t resist adding a couple of extra tiny snowflakes.

All of the stamps and inks I used for this card are from Catherine Pooler Designs. You can find them in her online store as well as other retailers, including The snowflakes are from the Christmas Cookies stamp set and are stamped using Mint to Be ink. The sentiment is from the Candy Cane Lane stamp set and is stamped using Be Mine ink. I love making some cards each year in non-traditional colors!

After the stamping was done. I trimmed down the panel by die cutting it using a stitched rectangle die from Heffy Doodle. I mounted it on a top-folding card base using foam tape. For a final bit of embellishment, I added a rhinestone in the middle of each snowflake and that completed this clean and simple card.

This would be a really great card for mass producing since it’s just very simple stamping. If you wanted to make it even easier, omit the die cutting and just make it a one layer card. Doing that would make it super quick to create a bunch of this card and guarantees no risk of additional postage being required. Win-win!

I’m entering this card in the following challenge(s):

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoyed the project I’ve shared. Until next time …
