The new 2019 Stampin’ Up!® holiday catalog is now available for ordering! I’ve been purchasing Stampin’ Up products since 2015 and this is definitely my favorite holiday catalog so far. There are so many awesome stamp sets, papers, and embellishments. You can click the image above to view a PDF of the 2019 Holiday Catalog. You can also view all the new holiday products in my online store.
In honor of the launch, I’m sharing a card today featuring one of the bundles available in the new catalog. It’s actually my take on one of the sample cards shows on page 50 of the catalog.
I started by repeatedly stamping the three leaf images from the To Every Season stamp set on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped them in four different colors changing colors as I moved down the cardstock. The colors I used were Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade, and Olive Olive.
After I had all the leaves stamped, I did some sponging over each section of leaves using the corresponding ink color then die cut it using the second largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped three small leaves, one each in Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade, and Old Olive. Before the ink dried completely, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella over each leaf to add some shimmer and move the ink around a bit to fill in the leaves then cut each of them out.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set on Whisper White cardstock using Early Espresso ink. I cut it out using the Tailored Tag Punch. I adhered it to a strip of 3/4 x 3″ Designer Series Paper using liquid glue. The piece I used is actually from last year’s Neutrals collection which is retired. The original design uses the gingham design from the current Neutrals collection DSP. I’ll link to it in the supply list below my signature.
For the background, I inked one side of the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder with the Early Espresso ink then ran it through my Big Shot using a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. I adhered the Crumb Cake panel to a top-folding card base made from Whisper White Thick cardstock using liquid glue. I adhered the sponged panel to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals then adhered the sentiment strip to that, also using Dimensionals. For the final bit of embellishment, I adhered the small individual leaves using Mini Dimensionals and that completed the card.
In addition to the launch of the 2019 Holiday Catalog today, another big event is also kicking off today. By popular demand, Stampin’ Up is bringing back the Designer Series Paper (DSP) Sale!
