As you may know, I recently made the decision to rejoin Stampin’ Up!® as a Demonstrator. A big part of the reason for this decision is I really missed my team mates, but another major reason is I’m super excited about some of the new products Stampin’ Up has been launching. They’re filling in the two major gaps that were missing for me and I couldn’t be happier!
As you may have heard already, they recently launched a line of premier alcohol markers called Stampin’ Blends. They have all the same functionality we love about other alcohol markers, but they are perfectly coordinated to work with Stampin’ Up’s color range, so they’re a perfect fit with the rest of our product line! I’ve had the full set of these markers for a couple of weeks and have been having lots of fun playing with them. I’ll be sharing some cards soon featuring these wondering new markers. If you’d like to learn more about them in the meantime, you can find them in my online store or learn more about them in the Stampin’ Blends brochure.
The other big product news right now though is the announcement of the new Stamparatus stamping tool! As I’m sure many of you know, I have two different sizes of another stamping tool on the market. While I like it, there are things I haven’t liked about it as well. The Stamparatus addressed all of the things I felt were lacking about the other tool and was the final straw in my decision to return to Stampin’ Up. I seriously CAN. NOT. WAIT. to get my hands on this amazing stamping tool! Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up showing the tool in action:
- Make multiples with ease Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
- If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
- Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
- Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates
- Develop new and specialized stamping techniques with adjustable stamping plates and precision placement
The Stamparatus will retail for $49 here in the U.S. (If you are outside the U.S., please check with a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator in your area for pricing.) Here are the more product-specific details you might want to know as well as what’s included:

- Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
- Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
- 2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
- 2 reversible plates: a total of 4 surfaces to work with
- 2 magnets to hold the paper in place
- Magnet storage areas
This product won’t “officially” be in a catalog until the 2018-2019 annual catalog launches on June 1. However, Stampin’ Up is making this product available early through a special pre-order option. This special reservation window will only be open from December 5 through December 30. For anyone who doesn’t place a pre-order during this window, they will have to wait until June to order the Stamparatus, so I would definitely recommend ordering NOW if you want one any time soon! Orders placed during the December pre-order period will begin shipping on a first in-first out basis on March 19 and continuing until all orders are filled.
There is a limit of one Stamparatus per customer during the pre-order. You will be required to enter your credit card when placing the reservation, but you won’t actually be billed until the Stamparatus is ready to ship at which time you’ll be asked to finalize your order.
Since this is a reservation, you won’t be unable to include other Stampin’ Up products on the pre-order. If you want any other Stampin’ Up products right now, you’ll need to place a separate order for those items. When the time comes to actually finalize your order in March, you will be able to add extra items at that time. If your order processes and ships by March 31, it will fall within our Sale-a-Bration period, by adding a little something extra to your order, you will also qualify to receive free Stampin’ Up limited edition Sale-a-Bration product!
